Now Hiring! CNC Boring Mill Machinist

Location: Fairfield, OH 45014
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Machinist to operate a CNC Boring Mill to produce complex components within the required dimensions and specifications.
What You’ll Do:
- Use overhead bridge cranes to manipulate and load fixtures and parts in a safe manner.
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures such as machine knees and attachments and materials on the machine as necessary to machine parts as required.
- Set up large plates and fabrications to allow machining surfaces plate and parallel.
- Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speeds, feeds, and coolant flow.
- Very conformance of finished work piece to specifications using measuring inspection tools as necessary
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in a job shop environment making one-off and small lot parts. No high production
- Must know shop math including fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Must be familiar with the metric system.
- Must have prior medium to large Boring Mill experience.
- Must know G&M code and understand 4-axis machining.
- Must have your own tools including basic measuring devices.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and understand GD&T
- Familiarity with Toshiba controls (TOSNUC 888 AND 999) a plus
- Understanding of basic milling operations such as circular interpolation, and using and adjusting boring bars.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and sharp objects.
- Requires standing, climbing, and lifting/moving up to 50lbs.
