Job Summary

Join UT Southwestern as a Senior Payroll Analyst in the Payroll department. The Sr. Payroll Analyst performs a wide variety of payroll activities within the Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 system, including processing and auditing wage and overtime payments, payroll deductions (manually and via interface), tax adjustments and requests for paycheck adjustments or off-cycle payments. Although duties normally follow established procedures, responsibilities may include routine, minor corrections to make documents acceptable for processing. Works under general supervision of the Payroll Supervisor.

Prior PeopleSoft experience and proficiency in Excel including vlookups and pivot tables strongly preferred. Candidates need to be data-driven and able to analyze data. Experience with creating or editing PeopleSoft queries is a plus.

This position falls under a hybrid work schedule that includes a combination of in-office and remote, with the ability to come into the office at any given time, as needed.
