Registered Nurse - Med Surg/TelemetryNight Shift, Full TimeCompetitive Salary/ Comprehensive Benefits*Up to $35,000 Sign-On Bonus Available*MLee Healthcare has been engaged by a leading healthcare system in New York that is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients with medical and traumatic emergencies, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care.Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN, 1 year must have been in a relevant practice area (required). Previous experience as a charge nurse/leadership role (preferred). BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required). Current RN license in the state of New York. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Med Surg/Telemetry unit. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established policies and protocols. Utilize critical thinking skills to respond effectively to changing patient conditions and emergencies. Foster a therapeutic and compassionate environment, ensuring patient and family education and involvement in the care process. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote continuity of care and effective communication.
