This position is responsible for the development and implementation of cutting-edge digital transformation strategies throughout the enterprise. The position may be based in Northville, MI and reports directly to the Director Enterprise Architecture Applicationof the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Automation-Focused Strategy Development: Provide thought leadership in the development and execution of enterprise and architecture domain-specific strategies, standards, and guidelines, emphasizing automation, to articulate the Enterprise Architecture Target State, Blueprints, and Roadmaps.
- You will work within and across functions and business units to deliver a cohesive end-to-end, best practice technical and process solution meeting existing business requirements while building a flexible platform for the future.
- The role will be focused on helping, fostering, and developing cross-functional coordination and alignment with other teams to innovate faster and better for the whole organization.
- Develop specific strategies and architectures to retire legacy systems, reduce technical debt, and transform the overall business and technology capabilities to achieve the target state.
- You will also work with various application, infrastructure, and plant technology teams across the business globally to evaluate and select Industry 4.0 technologies for implementation at scale.
- Provide guidance, input and oversight to product strategies and capability gaps.
- Partner with various teams within organization and managed services to increase automation and increase speed to market.

Minimum Requirements Education: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related major or commensurate experience.
Experience: - 10+ years of working level experience in manufacturing industry, preferably in automotive sector.
- 5+ years of experience in supporting ERP, MES or other manufacturing applications as a developer or business analyst.
- Experience in a large-scale global IT enterprise environment.
Skills - Proficient in programming languages and frameworks, C#, .Net, C++, Angular, and ASP.NET.
- Scripting experience, python, java, bash preferred.
- Working knowledge in IoT, Machine Learning, and Data & Analytics
- Knowledge and expertise in IT architecture strategy across a broad spectrum of technology infrastructure and applications, including cloud, database, storage, network, security, virtualization, and third-party relationships.
- Knowledge of enterprise architectural framework methodology (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Must be able to communicate complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people can understand.
- Ability to relate and influence at all levels, is at ease communicating with both management, staff, and external parties.
- Self-starter capable of managing and delivering to objectives in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
- Team player with high integrity, able to establish personal credibility and establish effective relationships throughout the organization.
