Job description

This is a remote position.

Paradigm is searching for a Software Engineer to support our client a global leader in the legal industry. This position entails developing applications using React for highvolume mission critical middle tier applications. The role will primarily focus on handson coding of the project using the technologies listed below. Proven ability to organize workload and priorities and complete tasks on time & to work effectively in a team environment. Acts as a resource for other software engineers; and a liaison between department manager and other analysts as well as the business team.

Type: 6month contract

As a Software Engineer you will:

• Use Agile SDLC methodologies in the full life cycle software development process including requirements analysis software design prototyping programming debugging and testing of system software production applications.
  
• Participate in technical design and implementation.
  
• Proactively raises issues if specification will lead to quality system performance or architectural issues in product.
  
• Collaborate with fellow developers in areas of expertise as well as members of business unit.
  
• Demonstrate selfdirected and proactive approach to solving problems.
  
• Develop debug and deliver enterprise applications.
  
• Demonstrate selfdirected and proactive approach to solving problems.
  
• Proactively mentor fellow developers in areas of expertise.
  

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

• Excellent experience with React JS Redux/React Redux Material UI Redux Hooks and React Hook Forms.
  
• Experience with REST Services and API integration.
  
• Should have worked in Agile Scrum teams and is aware of Agile Scrum Delivery principles.
  
• Should have excellent communication presentation and interpretation skills.
  
• Should be good at analyzing issues / situations and reasoning solution proposals.
  
• Indepth knowledge in JavaScript including ES6 and Typescript.
  
• Experience with Jest Mocha or other unit testing framework.
  
• Knowledge and experience of frontend dev tools such as Babel Webpack & NPM.
  
• Knowledge of OData / SQL Server are an advantage.
  
• Experience with browserbased debugging and performance testing software.
