POSITION SUMMARY

The NP/PA provides GI care through the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients. Works under the direction of the collaborating Physician and other supervising gastroenterologist.

What you will be doing

• Evaluate patient, reviewing medical history, and performing an appropriate physical exam in a medical office setting
• Interpret and evaluate patient data as authorized by physician for the purpose of determining
  management and treatment of patients. Consult with physician as appropriate.
• Assess and diagnosis urological conditions
• Prescribe, recommend, and regulate appropriate pharmacologic medicine
• Work closely with physicians and other members of the healthcare team in a collaborative effort to provide optimal patient care

What you will bring to the team

• Current NP or PA-C license, Master's Degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant program required
• Current BLS and CPR certification required.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a Urology setting
• Knowledge of EMR systems
• Bilingual Spanish

Please note that actual pay will be determined based on the relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range.
