Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our financial transactions and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning and decision-making.
- Process payroll accurately and timely, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including management and team members, regarding financial matters.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to data security protocols.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline accounting procedures.
- Assist with annual audits and provide support to external auditors as needed.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role, with a minimum of [insert number] years of relevant experience.
