Registered Nurse vacancies may be filled from this recruitment at any of the following three levels:

Registered Nurse 1-3 SER

RN 1 $ 2,387.20 Biweekly

RN 2 $ 2,554.40 Biweekly

RN 3 $ 2,733.60 Biweekly

Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) implement of a premium pay rate of up to $10.00 per hour for the hours worked for market conditions.

Shift Differential

2nd shift differential evening $3.25 (2:00pm-10:30pm)

3rd shift differential evening $3.00 (10:00pm-6:30am)

2nd shift differential evenings weekend/holidays $3.25 (2:00pm-10:30pm)

3rd shift differential evenings weekend/holidays $3.00 (10:00pm-6:30am)

Longevity (for the hours worked only)

0 months to less than 6 months $2.00

6 months to less than 3 years $3.00

3 years to less than 5 years $4.00

5 years or greater $5.00

There is also a premium pay for Certified Developmental Disabilities Nurse certification. Certification must be verified and if verified there is a premium pay of $0.50 per actual hour worked.

No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Possession of a valid Louisiana license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Close from a Registered Nurse Supervisor A or B, but may receive supervision from other higher level personnel.
