Job description

Therapeutic Counseling and Consulting, a growing group practice in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our team and expand our medication management services. We are passionate about providing culturally competent, client-centered care to individuals, couples, and families throughout Virginia, both in-person and via telehealth.

Make a Difference in Your Community:

In this part-time to full-time position, you'll play a vital role in offering medication management services to our clients. You'll work collaboratively with our team to provide comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate clients on their medication needs.

What You'll Do:

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness.
Provide individual and group medication education and training.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Participate in administrative duties and professional development opportunities.
What We're Looking For:

Virginia State NP license and DEA license in good standing.
2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Ability to practice independently or collaborate with an established MD.
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
