To ensure our position as the market leader in solution technologies and innovation, ST Engineering iDirect is seeking a Vice President of Product Management to manage and guide the product lifecycle across all subsidiaries and product lines.
Responsibilities - Lead process of defining product strategy, roadmap and success metrics in collaboration with executive leadership and other key stakeholders
- Existing product lines
- Transformational strategy of our next generation platform incorporating 5G, cloud native and SDR requirements for multi-orbit satellite constellations with On-Board Processing (OBP) capabilities.
- 'XaaS' offering.
- Own and be accountable for the lifecycle of and serve as a subject-matter expert for the full ST Engineering iDirect product portfolio.
- Develop KPI's, budgets and forecasts for product performance and implement monitoring processes.
- Continuously monitor the portfolio's value proposition, competitiveness and financial performance and recommend additions, enhancements and eliminations
- Generate ROI-driven business cases for development efforts
- Solicit and monitor/analyze the market, competitive landscape and stakeholder feedback in the context of identifying product enhancements and/or potential new offerings
- Manage a team of product managers, product owners, and user experience designers to develop detailed product requirements to translate business objectives and client needs into product feature sets for enhancements and new programs
- Collaborate and partner throughout the organization as the product management interface; including Sales, Product Marketing, Operations, Innovation, and Finance
- Build, manage and develop a team of highly skilled and motivated product management professionals
- Support sales and marketing efforts which includes attending and presenting at events, tradeshows as well as and supporting product demonstration
Qualifications EDUCATION: Minimum BS/MS or equivalent experience
Masters/MBA preferred
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 15 years of progressive, relevant experience in satellite communication and/or telecommunications industries

- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple short-term and long-term products plans across a team
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.

- Experience creating and managing the strategy and roadmap of large portfolios of software and hardware solutions
- Can work under pressure in high visibility situations.
- Flexible - able to quickly adapt to changing conditions and make decisions based on incomplete data.
- Familiar with Jira, Agile, and other development processes and management tools.
