ProStaff Workforce Solutions is looking for Chemical Operators to work with a leading chemical company in Chattanooga, TN. Our client is manufacturing a broad variety of products in four primary markets: Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Catalysts, Surfactants & Performance Additives for a diverse global market place. Direct Hire Pay Rate: $19-22/hr Yearly Bonus plus Benefits Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts Responsibilities: • The successful candidate will be responsible for operating multi-million dollar machinery and handling materials in a professional manner
• In addition to operating equipment, this position also requires working safely around other workers and operating equipment with minimal supervision
• Responsible for all other duties as required
Qualifications: - Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must have knowledge in mathematics; mechanics; English language.
- Experience in manufacturing, production or processing industry.
- Must be able to follow instructions carefully with attention to details.
- Responsible for following all safety, security and company policies.
- Must be trained and signed off on all SOPs pertaining to the manufacturing of Glycine.
- Must follow all DEA regulations.
- Must be able to operate all equipment required to process Glycine.
- Must be able to follow Batch Record instructions and record the correct data as required.
- Must follow cGMP guidelines.
- Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, push, pull and climb stairs and ladders frequently.
- Must be able to work alone.
- Must be able to unload tank trucks.
- Must be able to work with hazardous materials.
