Full-Time Family Assistant Worker - Youth Direct Care Aide in the Cape Youth Day Treatment Program

Base Pay: $17.00/hour

Minimum Required Qualifications:

The Program
The Youth Day Treatment program provides services to youth in grades 3-12 who require a step-down or an alternative to inpatient care or partial hospitalization, or as transitional care following an inpatient or partial hospitalization stay in order to facilitate return to the community or to prevent or minimize the need for more intense or restrictive level of treatment. The Day Treatment Program provides services that are more intensive than outpatient treatment and will serve persons who need a structured, behavioral health setting for daytime activities.

Job Summary:

As a Family Assistance Worker, you will be responsible for assisting children in the Day Treatment Program to learn important life skills such as communication, de-escalation, and coping techniques. Your role is to help the children remain in their homes, schools, and communities while they receive treatment. This is a challenging yet rewarding position as you will be able to witness the progress and growth of your clients as they work towards their treatment goals.

What Your Duties Will Look Like as a Family Assistant Worker:

Staff must have proof of continuous auto insurance, must be able to possess a MO Class E license, and successfully complete the required CPR/First Aid and Pro-ACT Training.
