Location: Reno, NV
A respected general contractor specializing in a wide range of construction projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional construction, as well as renovations and remodels. They are committed to providing high-quality work, sustainable building practices, and excellent customer service. They are seeking an experienced and motivated Superintendent to oversee construction projects in the Reno, NV area. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
- Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures on job sites.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including providing regular progress reports and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Ensure that all project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and submittals, are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
Requirements: - MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, Excel experience is a must (non-negotiable)
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry.
- Experience managing commercial, industrial, and/or institutional construction projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage project schedules and budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
