Job Title: Paint Line Utility Worker

Department: Paint Line

Reports to: Paint Line Lead/ Production Supervisor

Classification: Non Exempt/Hourly

Hiring Bonus:  $1,500.00 Hiring Bonus To Be Paid Out After 90 Days of Employment

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Understand complex prints and set up sheets and can program parts/machine per drawing
• Know all operations and safety procedures of the paint line
• Ability to perform metal finishing
• Understand the paint millage for each product
• Assist with tank dumps on a regular schedule
• Capable of loading and unloading the paint line
• Operate tow motor and overhead crane

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, assembly prints, packing lists, shop orders, and other written correspondence

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years’ experience in a production environment
• Personal Protection Equipment Training (PPE), Global Harmonization System Training (GHS), Lock Out- Tag Out Training, (LOTO)
  • Onsite training available
• Tow Motor and Overhead Crane Certification
  • Onsite training available

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.

Specific Qualifications:

Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen, and when applicable if duties involve operating motor vehicle must be able to pass motor vehicle record check.
