Job description

Research psychologist position for the Social Neuroscience & Psychotherapy Lab at the Portland VA will serve in a supervisory role for psychology trainees and will oversee clinical research assessments and facilitate study sessions that require a licensed mental health provider

--Supervise psychology trainees

--Oversee clinical research assessments

--Facilitate study sessions that require a licensed mental health provider

JOB DUTIES

--Complete clinical assessment and study session documentation

--Attend and contribute to all pertinent lab and team meetings

--Co-manage lab's reputation and scholarly presence

--Contribute to scholarly dissemination of the lab's work

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise psychology trainees and other trainees and staff conducting clinical assessments, share supervision of research coordinators, research assistants, and other study facilitators with the director of the lab

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• PhD or PsyD
• Previous experience with clinical research
• Previous experience working within the VA system
• Experience/certification in MDMA-assisted therapy and other psychedelic-assisted therapy
