LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading consumer goods manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-end products to their valued customers. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Payroll Specialist to join their organization.
Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently process payroll for 1,200+ employees, ensuring adherence to established timelines and payroll policies
- Review approved timecards and follow up with any issues/discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll data, including personal information, tax withholding, direct deposit and benefits deductions
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and rectify discrepancies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes and deductions
- Assist in the payroll-related aspects of new employee onboarding, including setting up payroll accounts and processing required paperwork
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential payroll records, ensuring proper record-keeping and documentation
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline payroll processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy
Payroll Specialist Requirements:- CPP preferred by not required
- 3+ consecutive years of experience processing payroll for at least 500 employees
- Solid understanding of payroll processes, payroll taxes and relevant regulations
- Proficiency in using payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, Workday, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and external partners
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy in payroll data management and calculations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payroll-related issues
