Job description

We are currently hiring Security Officers with military, police or corrections experience for an unarmed position in Plantation (Broward County). There is a $500.00 hiring bonus being offered for these positions.

The post is a luxury gated community. Duties include gate access control, logging in visitors to the property, conducting vehicle and foot patrols, monitoring the CCTV system and providing great customer service to residents and guests of the property.

Please review the qualifications before applying. Candidates that do not meet the requirements, will not be considered for the position. Hiring is contingent upon a successful completion of the drug screening, background check and driving history report.

Hiring Bonus Payment Schedule

• $100.00After 30 Days
• $200.00After 60 Days
• $200.00After 90 Days

Requirements

Qualifications: (At least one of the qualifications must be met. No exceptions.)

• U.S. Military Veteran or currently serving in the Reserves or National Guard
• Certified Police Officer or Certified Corrections Officer or be a graduate of either academy.

Candidates must provide supporting documentation (DD214, Corrections or Law Enforcement Certification or academy certificate for either) at time of interview.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a veteran of the U.S. Military or currently serving in the Reserves or National Guard or be a graduate of the Corrections or Police academy.
• Authorized to work in the United States
• MUST have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Must  have a valid Class D Security Officer License
• Must  be able to pass a criminal background investigation and drug screening
• Strong command of the English language (Bilingual in Spanish is a plus)

Position 1:   Unarmed Officer (40 Hours)

• 15:00-23:00  Wednesday-Sunday
• Off - Monday and Tuesday

• 07:00-15:00Friday-Tuesday
• Off Wednesday and Thursday
