Overview
Come and join the Payroll Tax Operations team as a Group Product Manager. We are rapidly growing our QuickBooks Payroll Customer base and we need a strong Product Manager to modernize and automate our expert tools and systems to keep up with demand and ensure compliance with State and Federal tax regulations.
In this role, you will lead a small and mighty team to build new expert tools, develop simple 1-click user experiences, craft innovative methods to improve process and data quality, and create a platform that incorporates AI for process automation.

What you'll bring
8+ years in product management, designing and delivering world-class products in a Product Management role
Experience with building and leading high performing teams
Track record in defining and delivering awesome products solving big customer needs
Demonstrable technical depth in SaaS software development - i.e. reading code, architecture and design discussions with strong engagement with engineering and architecture teams. AI/ML expertise/experience a plus
Demonstrated success in taking data driven approach and delivering impactful business result
Ability to develop and execute a successful product roadmap
Experience with Agile development and methodologies being the product owner
Proven experience in defining big visions and inspiring teams to deliver new innovations and impactful products
Track record of working closely with customers, partners, listening and taking a customer-focused approach to strategy and priorities - passion for the customer and for experts
Excellent collaboration skills - leading execution across teams, influencing across organizations
Good communication skills - in small teams and larger group presentation formats
Undergraduate degree required; focus in technical area like computer science; MBA is a plus; equivalent experience will be considered
Payroll domain experience a plus!
How you will lead
Define and lead the vision and strategy for the platform, provide product thought leadership in identifying critical customer requirements, understand business goals, define product end state, and work with development teams in designing optimal user experience and successful business solutions
Work closely with Intuit design teams and with partners to develop delightful expert and customer experiences to deliver process improvement and self-service capabilities
Work closely with architects and engineers to design secure and scalable solutions while ensuring a frictionless user experience
Take a data driven approach in defining success metrics, prioritizing requirements, and communicating plan, progress and success
Drive the execution of the product plan, working closely with the product team across all functions. You are the product owner for these services
Drive project execution and delivery by managing dependencies and plans across the different services and teams required for the solution
Work closely with the different Intuit business offering teams to understand the requirements, priorities, and drive to a common goal
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to persuade, communicate vision and motivate people at every level collaborative working style
Spend time with end-users to understand their pain points, gather insights on how we can solve some of those big customer problems in a delightful way
Represent the team in presentations, meetings, customer and partner events internally and externally
