Job Summary and Qualifications
The CT Tech accepts the responsibility and accountability for the duties of a CAT scan Technologist. Must be registered by the A.R.R.T. The overall goal for the Cat Scan Technologist is to provide optimum care to the patient physician and patients family by the standards of care at Fairview Park Hospital.
What you will do in this role:
- Provide quality CAT scan exams for interpretation by the Radiologist.
- Maintain and apply current Cat Scan standards and clinical competency including age competency.
- Apply critical thinking skills in conjunction with facility policies and procedures to prioritize and problemsolve.
- Quality patient care contrast media administration quality control patient documentation and record maintenance.
- Meet the personal and practical needs of patients and families.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- Current CPR or BCLS certification within 30 days of hire
