Short DescriptionThe clinical secretary will assume a pivotal role in providing essential support to multiple medical specialties within the Adult Health Institute. This position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including chart preparation, timely processing of vital requests such as medication refills, lab scripts, and prior authorizations. The primary objective of the clinical secretary will be to deliver comprehensive clerical assistance, ensuring smooth patient access through efficient management of provider schedules and assigned patient scheduling duties. Additionally, the clinical secretary will contribute to the completion of various institute projects, further enhancing operational efficiency and excellence.
Knowledge of insurance IDX registration and scheduling possible.
Medical Terminology experience preferred.
IDX experience preferred.
Expert transcription and supervisory skills.
2 years Health Care or Medical Office preferred.
2 years of medical office experience preferred.
Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required.
