This full-time position will oversee all company-wide procurement activities and report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer. This role will be responsible for the development and management of a centralized procurement function focused on establishing cost-effective sourcing strategies and negotiating and executing third-party vendor contracts for the purchasing of goods and services to meet the needs of the company’s business operations. This role will collaborate with Legal and Vendor Management to support internal stakeholders from cross-functional teams such as IT, Marketing, Finance and HR. In addition, this role will be responsible for partnering with the Director of ESG to develop and implement procurement strategies towards meeting the organization’s environmental, sustainability and diversity goals.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Manage, administer, and ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures across the organization

+ Compile, prepare and report procurement related KPIs and other metrics for the executive leadership team and the board of directors

+ Meet regularly with department managers and other key business stakeholders to identify and forecast procurement initiatives; develop and maintain a procurement plan; communicate new and/or revised procurement-related policies and procedures; and provide overall procurement guidance

+ Develop and implement procurement-related training programs (team-specific and organization-wide)

+ Drive all vendor related sourcing, negotiation and contracting activities across the enterprise

+ Deliver target cost savings through effective contract negotiation, the use of competitive bidding strategies, and effective market analysis

+ Lead strategic sourcing events such as RFPs, RFIs and RFQs

+ Lead the planning and execution of key procurement initiatives across all business functions

+ Effectively work with business teams to assess and define product and/or service specifications, projected demand, and accurate business requirements

+ Partner with Legal to review and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure contracts align with company policies, contain all required contract provisions, accurately reflect the scope and requirements of the business, and reflect the most cost-effective pricing

+ Develop and implement procurement strategies aimed at identifying opportunities to increase the organization’s engagement with diverse suppliers

+ Collaborate with Vendor Management on the consolidation of existing vendors to ensure a best-in-class vendor portfolio

+ Support Vendor Management, as needed, in the ongoing performance of vendor governance activities such as QBRs, vendor due diligence risk assessments, and overall vendor performance measurement

+ Other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s or higher degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ 15+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an SVP level role or external equivalent

+ 8+ years of experience, including experience running a procurement team and interacting with members of senior management and executive leadership

+ In depth knowledge of strategic sourcing principles and global sourcing practices

+ Strong contract negotiation skills

+ Deep understanding of procurement processes, procedures, and best practices

+ Experience with the contract management lifecycle and strong knowledge of standard contract terms and conditions

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work well under pressure and multitask

+ Effective written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups of people

+ High ethical standards

+ The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment

The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($150,000 – $235,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
