Job description

SLAB BBQ & BEER Cedar Park is looking for individuals to join our Squad. SLAB is looking for a specific individual that can PREP our amazing food and that can Keep It 100! This means someone who is self-driven, motivated, trustworthy, and efficient. We look forward to hearing from you!

*Note* Food Handler Certificate is required(available online). TABC Certificate may be required if serving beer. 

Responsibilities

Here at SLAB we have different responsibilities for different roles. The responsibilities listed below are a few that our PREP Squad Member is committed to! There are other responsibilities we carry as a team together.

• Assisting closely with our SLAB Pitmaster and Chopper to have food ready & available
• Prepping meats, sides, and sauces for our guests to enjoy
• Help create a neat and clean kitchen environment for operations to move smoothly & efficiently

Qualifications

• Willingness to SERVE others on the SLAB team and guests that come through our doors
• The ability to LEARN and LISTEN to others
• Practicing keeping oneself ACCOUNTABLE by following through with responsibilities
• Hard at work by BUSTING your butt in every area of opportunity

*Note* Our wage does not include the tips that you will make as a part of our Squad!
