The Business Process Improvement Specialist shall provide consulting and facilitation support with the experience and skills necessary to identify, evaluate, document, and support the implementation of business process improvement solutions. This individual will also be responsible for the following duties:
- Identify processes steps that are not providing value and work with stakeholders to streamline using Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Possess experience with process mapping, process improvement, and project management skills, coupled with knowledge of the Sponsor's agency
- Work with the Sponsor to understand mission and business concerns
- Through meetings with the Sponsor, shall analyze the business impact and recommend improvements and/or efficiencies
- Work with the Sponsor to identify a clear, actionable plan to implement solutions
- Consult and assist with the implementation of strategic realignment initiatives to meet Sponsor objectives
- Document processes, including, but not limited to, observations, surveys, concerns, and improvement solutions
- Have the skills and experience necessary to support projects of significant complexity
- A minimum of three years of relevant work experience related to project or program management or business process improvement consulting; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Proven strong project management skills and ability to convert mission area customer requirements into executable strategies
- Ability to manage a diverse collection of work deliverables requiring strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles
- Demonstrated capabilities to establish and maintain relationships with various Military Services and Agencies
- Possess professional written and verbal communication skills
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be US Citizen with an active U.S. Federal Government TS/SCI with Poly Security Clearance
