Job description

The Children's Home of Reading Youth & Family Services is seeking Full- Time Classroom Aides to assist our amazing teachers working with children in our Internal Education Programs. We have two private academies offering educational services for children who have behavioral issues, varied educational needs, an Individualized Education Plan and are referred by their home school district.

The employee is required to stand, walk, run, use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee must have the physical ability to restrain a resident while utilizing the tenets of Safe Crisis Management training. The employee is required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, see, taste, and smell.

Additional Requirements:
The candidate must pass required Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, as well as possess a valid PA driver's license and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. The candidate must pass a pre-employment Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings.
