Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced:
LICENSED HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL - RN Job Summary:
- Performs assessments/care plans for residents receiving Special Task as required in
- 10A NCAC 13G .0903.
- Communicates all necessary assessment and care plans to direct care staff and SIC.
- Participates in and conducts in-service training for supervisory personnel and all staff.
- Meets with Department Directors at least monthly to discuss departmental problems and possible solutions as well as receiving suggestions from Department Directors on matters pertaining to department operations.
- Reviews and checks competence of work force on a regular basis.
- Maintains employee morale.
- Assists personnel and patients in establishing a home-like atmosphere.
- Maintains a good working relationship with the community, hospital, and other health care facilities and agencies in the community and assures coordination of services through working and transfer agreements.
- Assures good public relations are maintained with the general public.
- Represents the Community in various outside activities and in dealing with various agencies including governmental and third party payers.
- Attends workshops and seminars in order to maintain a current RN License.
- Makes rounds of the Community getting to know residents, family members, and staff.
- Implements facility HIPAA policies.
- Meets with Directors on an as needed basis to discuss areas of concern.
- Attends monthly Q.A. meetings.
- Performs other duties as outlined by Administrator/Administrator-in-Charge.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
- Must be willing to work with various department directors, residents, visitors, family members, employees, and community leaders.
- Must have the ability to plan, organize, and follow-up on work assignments.
- Must have a sound knowledge of local, Federal and State regulations, and any other laws pertaining to Community operation.
- Must have the ability to make independent decisions and work well under pressure.
- Must have the ability to promote public relations.
- Must complete the "Manual" for How to Complete DHSR 3050 Resident Assessment and Care Plan.
