This apprenticeship position earns a competitive wage of $14 - $27.50/hour, depending on experience. YOUR DAY AS A LOCKSMITH APPRENTICE
As a Locksmith Apprentice, you are an important member of our team. Each day, you attentively assist our licensed locksmiths as they work with automotive and standard locks. As you help, you watch carefully so that you can increase your skills with each job. You also take part in a variety of shop work, including copying keys, re-keying, picking locks, and cutting to code.
As someone who enjoys working with your hands, you take pride in learning to create automotive keys and program transponders. Diligent in your duties, you make sure to keep accurate timesheets, track service call tickets, and help manage our inventory. Each day of your apprenticeship, you learn something new, and you're proud to be such a dedicated member of our car dealership's locksmithing team!
WHAT WE NEED IN A LOCKSMITH APPRENTICE
Do you have excellent communication skills? Are you friendly and outgoing? Do you get along well with just about anyone? Can you work well as part of a team? Do you have strong organizational skills? If yes, you might just be perfect for this apprenticeship!
WORK SCHEDULE
This apprenticeship is full-time and typically works at our car dealership between the hours of 9 AM - 6 PM on weekdays and every other Saturday.
