Job description
Happy Days Preschool is actively seeking a dedicated teacher for our Preschool (age 3) classroom! Our ideal candidate will exhibit sound judgment and will engage wholeheartedly with each precious child. Experience with Creative Curriculum a plus.

Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Supervising and managing daily activities for a class of children

- Regularly assessing each child's developmental needs
- Maintaining an inviting, well-organized classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making
- Attending all mandatory staff meetings, workshops, and school functions as directed by the Director
- Adhering to all rules and regulations related to the health, safety, and welfare of children
- Demonstrating a consistently professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic
- Assisting in maintaining a clean, clutter-free classroom environment with a strong emphasis on sanitation
- Performing other assigned duties
- Ability to work both early morning and closing shifts

Qualifications:
- Must meet all state requirements for this position
- Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience
- Pleasant and outgoing demeanor
- Exceptionally professional and dependable
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, even in high-pressure situations
- Outstanding organizational abilities, adept at multitasking and effectively managing time in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to interact with students of all ages and skill levels
- Capability to lift up to 40 lbs. in situations related to child handling for program facilitation, child safety, and potential emergencies
