We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting with expertise in tax planning, compliance, and consulting. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients navigate complex tax regulations, minimize tax liabilities, and achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of client financial records to identify tax planning opportunities and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and file various tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns, accurately and timely.
• Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients, including recommendations for minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing tax benefits.
• Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to stay updated on changes and developments that may impact clients' tax positions.
• Assist in representing clients in tax audits and examinations, working closely with tax authorities to resolve any issues or disputes.
• Prepare tax projections and estimates to assist clients in budgeting and forecasting tax obligations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters and providing proactive solutions to meet their needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage expertise and resources in delivering comprehensive tax services to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or tax consultancy.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSystem fx Tax, UltraTax) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients and colleagues.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
