Job description

POSITION TITLE: ARNP

FLSA: EXEMPT

Under the direct supervision of the Associate Medical Director and the general direction of the Medical Director, incumbent is responsible for care of patients assigned.

You Will Need:

1. Bachelor of Science required.
2. Master of Science Nurse Practitioner program.
3. Florida ARNP license.
4. Certified by Professional or National Nursing.
5. Ability to use EMR.
6. Ability to interpret signs and symptoms elicited through history and physical.
7. Ability to determine health problems after lab and x-ray information is available.
8. Judgment and knowledge to obtain consultation when appropriate.
9. Works under physician-supervised protocols, which are registered with the state.
10. CPR required.
11. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Job Duties:

1. Provide primary care.
2. Histories and physicals.
3. Management of chronic and short-term illness according to medical protocols.
4. Provide health maintenance and preventive teaching.
5. Family counseling and psychological support.
6. Family planning.
7. Collaborate with physician regarding plan of care and referral as needed.
8. Other duties as assigned.
