Custer State Park Resorts : Restaurant and Catering Management Internship

The Restaurant/ Sales and Catering Management Intern will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager/ Executive Chef and Catering team with various front of house and back of house tasks on a day-to-day basis. Tasks will vary from supporting the restaurant servers and bartenders, to managing the daily reservation book, to creating a floor plan for dinner service, to prepping food items in the kitchen, to organizing and planning bqt events! This position may also learn the ins and outs of putting together a beverage order and working with vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of products.
LOCATION: Custer State Park Resorts is nestled in the Southern Black Hills National Forest Region. The Black Hills are a busy tourist destination for horseback trail rides, old west cookouts, hiking, climbing, biking and fly fishing. Breathtaking Forest backgrounds, panoramic mountain views and abundant wildlife such as deer, elk and on of the nation’s largest buffalo herd are all a part of the scenery.
