JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading the Company’s month-end closing process and ensuring compliance with GAAP requirements

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage monthly accrued expenses and prepaid assets and ensure GAAP compliance
- Reconcile Bank Recs, payroll entries, Intercompany transactions, and employee benefits on a consistent basis
- Review monthly financials to budget and prior years for accuracy and investigate and document variances.
- Work with VP of finance on YE audit requests and quarterly tax payments
- Manage ASC842 for all locations
- Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition on a quarterly basis.
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Identify opportunities to create efficiencies in the monthly closing process
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 10 + years accounting experience
- High-volume payables, receivables, and intercompany transactions
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products
- Experience with Microsoft BC or similar ERPs
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to occasionally lift 25 lbs
- Able to sit and work at a computer for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises
