Job description
We are seeking for a talented ETL Engineer who is passionate about technology and working with customers and a strong team to provide solutions for our mission-critical customer in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate appreciates partnering with our customer and a group of engineers to create innovative engineering solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 or more years of extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) experience
- Experience scripting software solutions for data ingest
- Experience with Linux and Windows Environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, etc)
- Experience with Elastic Search indices
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Kafka, Accumulo)
- Experience with Oracle 11g/12c
- Experience with containerization
- Experience working within agile methodology
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with spark or scala
- Experience with Apache Nifi
