Position Summary:
As the Transportation Manager for our Liquid Bulk Division, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of transportation operations related to the movement of liquid bulk goods. This includes managing a fleet of specialized tankers, optimizing routes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Lead and manage day-to-day transportation operations for the Liquid Bulk Division.
- Coordinate and optimize routes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of liquid bulk goods to customers.
- Fleet Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the liquid bulk tanker fleet.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address any vehicle issues promptly.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Stay informed about and ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and training programs to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and address any identified issues promptly.
- Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor transportation personnel.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and support to drivers, dispatchers, and other team members.
- Customer Relations:
- Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer needs and concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the liquid bulk industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in managing transportation operations, specifically in liquid bulk logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of liquid bulk transportation regulations and safety standards is required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize operations.
- Familiarity with transportation management software.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
