USPRO is actively seeking a skilled Environmental Lab Technician who support key client locations and will be responsible for conducting wet chemistry analyses.
Duration: 8-month contract.
Shift: Monday - Friday (including at least one weekend a month), 40 hours per week.
Compensation: Rate range starting at $16/hr, flexibility dependent on experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking an Environmental Technician to support key client locations. As an Environmental Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting wet chemistry analyses such as Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Settleable Solids (SS), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Residual Chlorine (TRC), pH, e. Coli microbiological testing, and Nitrate and Ammonia by Ion Selective Electrode methodology. This role will also be responsible for field sampling the cooling and storm water outfalls onsite to satisfy our NPDES and TMSP permits. Using Good Laboratory Practices (GLP’s), you will follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
