Corporate Controllers: Firmwide Financial Control (FFC) Business Management – Vice President
Business Management optimizes business performances by helping to drive key initiatives. They act as a trusted advisor and counterweight to Business/Group Heads and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. The role of a business manager is dynamic and can vary from business to business, in line with the priorities of the different lines of business.
As a Vice President in Firmwide Financial Control Business Management, you will support the Firmwide Financial Control organization. Firmwide Financial Control is primarily focused on ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the Firm’s books and records with an emphasis on general ledger, operating systems & infrastructure controls across the entire lifecycle of the business. Some of the most common functions and activities that are owned by Financial Controllers are balance sheet reconciliation / certification, balance sheet substantiation and General Ledger Attestation standards, inter-entity control & governance, manual accounting / bookings to the GL and operating systems and the month end close process & consolidation.
