Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking a skilled individual for our ECN Coordinator position at our DTTP - Waller, TX location. The Materials ECN Coordinator reviews, approves and coordinates effectivity dates and communication for residential and commercial HVAC product engineering changes . About DTTP

Daikin Texas Technology Park- has a footprint of 4.23 million square feet under a single roof, and is the third largest factory in the United States. Opened in 2017 as the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering center for Daikin's American subsidiary Goodman, the plant makes heating and air conditioning products sold under the Goodman, Amana, and Daikin brands.

May include:

• Review Engineering Change Request (ECR), deviations and Effectivity Date Change (EDC) for completeness and accuracy
• Coordinate ECR, deviation, and EDC activities to ensure smooth implementation and work with the appropriate personnel to resolve issues resulting from ECR, deviation and EDC activity
• Approve ECR, deviation and EDC as manufacturing materials delegate
• Determine and confirm ECR actual effectivity dates based on criteria including stakeholder feedback, parts depletion, etc.
• Implement approved deviations and EDC
• Maintain key tables for parts assignment
• Facilitate cross-functional ECR/ECN meeting
• Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs

Nature & Scope:

• Works under general supervision.
• Works within well-defined instructions.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Analytical with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, follow-up and time management skills including priority setting.
• Good problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs – Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with Bill of Materials (BOM) preferred.
• Proficiency with Mapics/AS400 data entry a plus.

Experience:

• 1 - 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Experience within manufacturing materials and MRP system preferred
• Experience with HVAC a plus

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Associates Degree preferred
