Job description
Woops! Macarons & Gifts is a fast-growing retailer of fantastic celebration packages using French Macarons! In fact, we are the largest in the US (with 35+ locations).
We are searching for a well-rounded Sales Advisor to help us deliver the best possible service to each and every one of our customers. Sales Advisors have a direct, immediate impact on the success of Woops! through customer interactions and process ideation and improvement. We've grown to who we are today thanks in no small part to them!
In this role, you'll get to show folks firsthand what Woops! is all about while making macarons-as-a-gift shopping a goosebump-inducing experience. Sounds cool? Read on!

• Communicate Woops! Macarons & Gifts values and brand philosophy,
• Delight customers through nothing-but-wonderful service,
• Demonstrate unparalleled product knowledge and offer exceptional gifting advice,
• Dream up ways to reinvent retail and the gift-shopping experience,
• Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Can you be a strong brand ambassador in our store and outside? We are looking for people who have superb relationship building skills, are passionate for working with people on their celebrations, and have an eye for quality and can sell it. We definitely are a fun company and are looking for people who exude a great personality. Culture is critical to us and we are looking for people who love to know everything about what they sell so their excitement and enthusiasm naturally sell the product and gifting services.
Compensation is with a base salary and a high level of tips (total average of $15 to $20 per hour). So the sky is the limit. Your passion will translate to fantastic compensation.
In 2012, at the heart of New York City, four friends rented a macaron pop-up shop at the Winter Village in Bryant Park. In those 9 weeks, we couldn’t keep up with the lines out the door! And before we knew it… Woops! we had a business.
Ever since then we’ve witnessed the power that a box of French macarons can have in making anyone feel joyful and cared for, and how our sweets could help spread love and light up someone’s day.
