Join a dynamic and innovative team in the heart of the United States! We are a leading designer and manufacturer of cutting-edge plastic-injection molded products, specializing in household & garage storage, and commercial cleaning solutions. Currently, we are on the lookout for a skilled Database Administrator to join our organization. This is a remote position that will report to the Vice President of Information Technology.

As a Database Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. Your responsibilities will span planning and development, troubleshooting, and optimizing the overall efficiency of our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the performance, integrity, and security of our databases.
Contribute to database planning and development initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly.
Implement and maintain database security best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall organizational efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator.
Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
Familiarity with database design and normalization.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Skills:

Proficiency in database programming and scripting.
Knowledge of database security best practices.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Certifications (Optional):

Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
AWS Certified Database - Specialty
