Senior Manager, Marketing Planning and Strategy - Emerging Experiences
This is your opportunity to join the Brand Experiences & Partnerships team - we're responsible for new, innovative, & non-traditional marketing that is changing the way people see Walmart. Lately, our work has people saying "Okay, Walmart!", ultimately driving increased brand favorability.

That's why we're looking for someone to come in & help us continue to lead in the space, helping identify new platforms, technologies, etc.

About the Ideal Candidate
The Senior Manager of Marketing Planning & Strategy for Emerging Experiences will support a variety of innovative partnerships & experiences in collaboration with other platforms, brands & internal partners that both enhances the brand reputation of Walmart & drives discovery & commerce at scale.
You will work closely with the broader Brand Experiences & Partnerships Team, as well as Marketing, Creative, Retail, & other teams, to support existing & new experiences & partnerships. With time, you will also have the opportunity to evaluate, propose, & support new partnerships.
Most notable, you will work closely with external platform partners to help support & grow our evolving emerging experiences strategy & offering for Walmart customers. This is a cross-functional role where you will flex both the creative & analytical parts of your brain.

Our Marketing team has flexibility on location, for most of our openings, you can live within driving distance to one of our hubs: Bentonville, AR, Hoboken, NJ, San Bruno, CA, Sunnyvale, CA or Los Angeles, CA. We're moving toward 3 days in the office per week, with flexibility.
You will make an impact by :
Supporting a highly visible strategic partnership with an external platform partner, including virtual experience development, creative asset management, & more
Acting as a team player in helping support & amplify other brand experiences & partnerships across priority business categories & select brand reputation efforts
Proactively & retroactively evaluating, proposing, & supporting new virtual brand experiences & partnerships to support our team mission and goals
Collaborating & building meaningful relationships with both internal & external partners to support programs as well as identify opportunities to improve & optimize them
Leveraging data & insights to create campaign or partnership wrap reports that include performance results, key learnings, strategic recommendations, etc.
Constantly watching & listening to what's happening culturally & help identify areas of opportunity for Walmart within emerging experiences
