Project Manager - US based, Remote
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and lead projects from inception to completion including: creating a project plan, leading project meetings from kickoff to UAT both internally and externally, and perpetually ensuring the project stays within scope.
- Responsible for working with external and internal stakeholders to define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Responsible for creating project schedules and timelines, ensuring the progress of the project is maintained. They will also need to identify critical milestones and dependencies and will monitor progress against the timeline and adjust as necessary to keep the work on track.
- Responsible for taking initiative for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. Projects must be well-planned, well-executed and well managed.
- Continues to seek out opportunities to improve project processes and outcomes, identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Forecast realistic budgets and track costs as project proceeds
- Lead a team towards shared goals and objectives
- Utilize various tools (SFDC, Monday.com) to plan and organize milestones
- Anticipate, identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Provide support to team members to ensure they complete tasks on time
- Track project progress and prepare/present detailed reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage financial, human and material resources
- Conduct post-project analysis to determine what was effective and what to improve for future projects
Required/Essential:
- High aptitude for technical environments.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Management or related field
- PMP certified, or equivalent with thorough understanding of end-to-end product development lifecycle, best practices and project management methodologies.
- Meticulous organization and project management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple engagements of varying scope in a cross-functional environment.
- Excellent project management skills with significant experience of leading and project managing large complex projects and/or programs.
- Excellent problem solver that can quickly identify and solve problems that may arise
- Excellent planning and organization skills to be able to plan and organize work at an operational level for yourself and your team, and to deliver work to agreed timescales and standards.
- Project Management expertise with a proven ability to apply a range of project management methodologies such as agile project management and scrum approaches.
- Proven ability to establish credibility with senior stakeholders, excellent influencing skills to build and maintain relationships and work collaboratively.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with experience of producing reports and presentations for a senior audience, such as a Snr. Management team.
- Interest and pro-active willingness to contribute to: workflow, process, tools and team dynamics to help us manage and scale our rapid growth.
- Budget management experience to make informed decisions to ensure the project stays within budget
- Excellent self-management skills to work independently, using own initiative and being flexible and adaptable.
- Good decision-making skills and confident in making strategic and operational decisions.
Desired/Preferred:
- Understanding of Broadcast workflows
- Streaming or VOD Project Management experience
