Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our growing team! 

FFS -Fee For Service Position 

The Behavior Technician will be responsible for implementing clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and providing ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Behavior Technician will monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Behavior Technician will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful changes in client behavior.

Northeast Family Services offers high-quality supervision of fieldwork experience for candidates seeking the BCBA credential. A two-year contract is offered following successful completion of fieldwork experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related Human Services field and at least 1 year of experience working with children and adolescents diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders AND (ASD) Autism Spectrum Disorder or developmental disabilities

OR

• A High School diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience working with children and adolescents diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders AND (ASD) Autism Spectrum Disorder or developmental disabilities One year of experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

• Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions
• Availability to work morning, after school and evening hours
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle 

Compensation:

• FFS
• $20-$27/hour depending upon experience 
• Competitive Fee For Service Rates 
• Potential for full time hours
