Job description

Under the direction of the Food Service Director and Food Service Supervisor, performs a variety of duties in the preparation and distribution of food for patients, employees, and visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

 

  1. High school diploma preferred with the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
  2. Food Service experience preferred.
  3. Must have the ability to work independently and organize several projects.
  4. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day.
  5. Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner.
  6. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
  7. Must be able to see and hear, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
  8. Good visual acuity and manual dexterity required.
  9. Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
