About Workforce Strategy and Planning

The Workforce Strategy & Planning team helps ensure Walmart has the right people at the right time in the right role at the right cost and location to deliver our business strategy. We foster strategic partnerships and provide proactive insights and plans that improve decision-making, resulting in better workforce and workplace management. We develop agile, fair and consistent practice and platforms that improve our workforce ecosystem to meet business demand, respond to talent market shortages with agility, close critical skill gaps and maintain robust and diverse talent pipelines – both short-term and long-term.

The Senior Manager, Talent Intelligence will join our Workforce Strategy & Planning team at a critical time when we are elevating our influence across Walmart’s global businesses, extending our viewpoint from near-term to long-term strategic goals, and incorporating insights from external talent marketplace trends to go alongside our internal talent data.You will work closely with the leader of the Workforce Planning Center of Excellence to establish lines-of-sight to existing talent marketplace data (E.g. Draup, Bureau of Labor Statistics, US Department of the Census, International Labour Organization, UK Office of National Statistics…). You will build on existing location strategy and team processes to describe how it can best be used by our colleagues in the People Partner and Talent Organizations and work with them to improve their planning & execution as a result of the Talent Intelligence you produce. You will also work with our People Technology & Total Rewards partners to mine existing and new data about organizations who compete with Walmart for top talent in our critical roles so that we can build a compelling Workforce Strategy that takes into account competitor positioning and leverages Walmart’s unique scale, scope and reach. As a result, you will pay an important role in recommendations and decisions about our talent strategy that are based on clear data and lead to trade-offs that are balanced and likely to lead to exceptional business outcomes.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field and 4 years’ experience in data management, business analytics, statistics, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in data analysis, statistics, computer science, or related area.
