Director of Finance
PHP Agency LLC., "PHP," is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Dallas-based HQ team.

Position Summary
The broad objective for Director/AVP of Finance is to manage and direct daily accounting activities, ensuring that proper accounting and recording of transactions are performed accurately and timely, while producing financial and other KPI reports for management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead Accounting Finance
- Responsible for the preparation of the company's financial statements and delivery to local management and the parent company (Integrity).
- Deliver the month-end, quarterly and year end closings.
- Maintain accounting ledgers and records to ensure the proper, complete, and accurate record keeping of accounting company transactions are performed within the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Provides training, guidance, and direction to finance/accounting/commissions staff and departmental leaders (specifically sales) to ensure accounting and finance activities, such as sales commissions, are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.
- Confers with President and executive team about annual budgeting and reviewing strategies to meet overall goals and objectives.
- Conducts internal reviews/audits of processes, records, and information.
- Directs the implementation of needed corrections as determined by internal reviews/audits.
Lead Commissions and Payroll
- Supervise the mission-critical commissions systems that delivery twice-week payments to thousands of insurance agents deployed nationally.
- Post payroll and commissions data to the accounting payment system for contractors, field insurance agents and W2's.
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll through systems operated by the parent company.
- Produce and reviews commission and payroll reports for/with President and executive team.
- Support escalated field agent inquiries as necessary for both incentive or commission related matters
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Must have MS Office, experienced with high-level Excel proficiency.
- Must have managerial skills and be able to function in a supervisory role.
- Must be able to prioritize work to meet scheduled deadlines while handling multiple tasks.
- Must have excellent organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to function as a team player.
- Ability to function in a leadership role.
- Ability to work with scheduled deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is required (from an accredited Business School)
- CPA is a plus
- MBA is a plus
- 3 - 5 years of accounting experience (month-end and year-end) required
- A minimum of three years of supervisory experience is required.
