omo, a subsidiary of Hoag, in partnership with Beach Eye Medical Group, is seeking a dedicated Practice Administrator to join our team in Huntington Beach, California. This crucial role is responsible for overseeing the efficient operations of our clinic, supporting our staff, and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care. The ideal candidate will possess robust organizational skills, a deep passion for healthcare, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily administrative operations of the clinic and ensure adherence to medical regulations and policies.
- Supervise administrative staff, including their scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor budget and billing processes to ensure the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Ensure the maintenance of medical records is compliant with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Facilitate effective communication between medical staff to support patient care coordination and address operational challenges.
- Oversee clinic inventory and order medical and office supplies as required.
- Address patient inquiries and complaints, upholding exceptional customer service standards.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Generate and analyze reports on office operations for senior management.
- Collaborate with leadership from Beach Eye Medical Group to ensure clinic operations align with strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in office administration or management, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting.
- Proficient in medical software systems (EMR/EHR) and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- A thorough understanding of medical office procedures and patient care administration.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and compliance standards.
- Effective multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
