Job Summary:
The Department of Marketingin the College of Business, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a Clinical Professor (Open Rank-Non-Tenure-Track) to serve as the program advisor for our Master of Science in Marketing Research program. Candidates with extensive industry experience may also be considered as a Professor of Practice (Open Rank-Non-Tenure-Track). This is a non-tenure track position starting Fall 2024.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Program Advisor of the Master of Science, Marketing Research program position is multifaceted, with the Program Advisor serving as program manager, instructor and advisor to the students enrolled in this well-recognized program. The MSMR Program's mission is to train, develop, and prepare future market research professionals. A primary goal of the program is to grow locally, nationally, and internationally over the next 5 years, and the Program Advisor will have a significant role in that growth.
The Program Advisor reports to the Chair of the Marketing Department at the University of Texas at Arlington. The role has five primary components:

1. The Program Advisor will recruit and advise MSMR Students.

2. The Program Advisor will work with the market research community to ensure visibility for the program. 3. The Program Advisor will lead the program to achieve all outlined academic and University goals. 4. The Program Advisor will serve as a course instructor. 5. The Program Advisor will assist with identifying internship opportunities. Required Qualifications:
Work experience in the marketing research industry and a graduate degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in marketing or field related to marketing research. Five or more years of experience in the marketing research industry. Strong network in the marketing research community.
Department Information:
The marketing department at UTA is comprised of 20 full-time faculty members (10 tenured/tenure track and 10 non-tenure track) and two full-time staff members. In addition to the Master of Science, Marketing Research (MSMR) degree program, the department presently offers an undergraduate BBA degree in marketing, an undergraduate sales certificate, and a PhD concentration. We have one of the largest colleges of Business in the Dallas/Fort Worth area enrolling about 6,500 students.
