Job description
JOB SUMMARY
Technistone National Account Manager will provide leadership and oversight for all Technistone export sales at assigned territories in North and later on as well in Central America. Work directly with Technistone management based in the Czech Republic whilst being an employee of Wilsonart (Technistone’s owner). Seek new customers as well as servicing all buying and non-buying accounts.
Role can be based anywhere in United States with close access to major airport.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and generate new accounts and follow through on sales leads as per customer specifications provided by Technistone
- Act as primary contact for potential business partners who are not familiar with or don’t buy Technistone quartz. Find them, support them and convert them.
- Act as primary contact for existing Technistone customers at assigned territories. Build relationship, support them, extend current business.
- Forecast sales and develop sales strategies and models
- Effectively manage time and resources to ensure regional sales targets are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Technistone logistics and sales teams that allows for clear communications and productive engagements. Act as liaison between jointly agreed Technistone initiatives and the field to ensure best practices.
- Document activities in the CRM to ensure best practices are recognized and employed regularly.
- Provide product and logistic knowledge & expertise to customers
- Keep abreast of the latest industry developments by attending customer meetings, industry events, training sessions and individual research
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Track record of over-achieving sales quotas
- Experience within the quartz industry and corresponding products
- Experience working with a CRM and pipeline management
- Computer use proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with sales and marketing principles, material handling, specification sales & channel sales
- Knowledge of industry standards applicable to the product and other pertinent rules/regulations governing material standards
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to travel
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing or a closely related field.
Applicable experience may be substituted for education requirements.
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years
Proven sales experience required in lieu of an undergraduate degree.
Building materials experience strongly preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequently stand/walk or lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (20-50 lbs.)
ENVIRONMENT:
Requires frequent traveling to customer locations
East Coast residence
Home office, Wilsonart premises available for meetings with customers
