The Department of Chemistry in the Ogden College of Science and Engineering at WKU invites applications for a full-time, regular, nine-month, non-tenure-eligible faculty position at the rank of Instructor I, starting in August 2024. A significant portion of the teaching effort will be coordinating the College Chemistry I laboratories each semester and teaching one section of this laboratory. The lab coordinator will interface with teaching assistants and faculty in the laboratory sections and with the faculty who teach the corequisite lecture course. The successful candidate will also teach courses at the freshman and sophomore levels and serve on Department and University committees appropriate to their expertise and interest.
