Job description
Logistics Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Monitor and coordinate the shipment and transportation of products from Mexico.
- Create and update records, schedules, and plans.
- Plan and schedule trips and deliveries.
- Monitor and track shipments and calculate costs.
- Organize documents, pull import duties, and keep history on file.
- An understanding of Logistics or experience in the logistics department is preferred.
Office Administrative Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Filing, copying, and scanning.
- Monitoring and ordering office/cleaning supplies.
- Answering phones.
- Internet research abilities.
- Receiving and sorting daily mail.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- A 2-4 Year Degree in Relevant Focus
- Previous Client Interaction Experience
- Negotiation Skills
- Excellent Time Management
- Able to facilitate Meetings, Bookings, & Team Coordination
Soft Skills Needed:
- Work experience as an administrative assistant. (3+ years required)
- Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Proficiency in Excel, Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and set daily priorities.
- Data Entry – no less than 45wpm, proficiency in 10 Key.
- Proven record of being an all-round administrative assistant.
- Works well under pressure.
