Job description

Job Description:
As a Commercial Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of the construction process on commercial projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering superior results.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources.
Supervise and mentor field personnel, including foremen, carpenters, and laborers, to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and enforce adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
Manage project schedules and timelines, proactively addressing delays or obstacles to maintain project progress and meet deadlines.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors, to provide updates and address concerns.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and productivity, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Prepare and submit daily reports, progress updates, and other documentation as required by project specifications and company guidelines.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team of personnel.
